Dr. Francisco Garcia

As an orthodontist, there is always a positive expectation about the treatment outcome, to motivate patients toward achieving the ultimate goal: a happy and healthy smile! Becoming an orthodontist was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It has brought such personal and professional satisfaction, and I expect it will only get better with time. I feel so fortunate to say that my profession does not feel like a job at all; I can wholeheartedly say I do not work but rather have fun straightening teeth.

I earned my Doctorate of Dental Medicine with honors from Boston University's Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, and continued on to receive my certificate of advanced graduate studies in orthodontics from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas School of Dental Medicine.

Continuing education, in combination with an ethical and responsible professionalism, is a central pillar that allows us to render the quality treatment that our patients and their families deserve. To that end, I attend meetings and seminars, and participate in hands-on training through several local study clubs.

I am also involved in a number of professional organizations, all of which allow for continuing education and interaction with my peers. They include the American Association of Orthodontists, South Florida District Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Southern Association of Orthodontists.

I was born and raised in Venezuela, and currently live in Doral with my family. We have been here for just over a year and have made wonderful friends and felt welcome from day one. I am lucky to be married to an amazing woman, friend, and supporter, and we enjoy the blessings of our three children.

My free time is spent riding my bicycle, sailing, playing soccer, or simply reading a book in a hammock. The simple things in life are what make me truly happy.
