Dr. Andreina Avendano
As an General Practitioner limited to Endodontics, the most important aspect of my job is providing personalized, comfortable treatment for each patient. My job allows me to relieve people of their pain, restore function to their teeth, and most importantly, build relationships based on respect, compassion, and trust.
I obtained my Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Venezuela's Central University (Universidad Central de Venezuela, Dental School, Caracas, Venezuela) in 1996, and completed the endodontic program in 1998 there as well. I traveled to the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital for my general practice residency in 2013.
In order to keep current with new and advancing technology in the dental and endodontic fields, I attend annual meetings and seminars through the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, and Florida Dental Association.
I grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, and have lived in Weston, Florida since 2003. My husband and I have two children, ages four and seven. I love volunteering at their school and watching their various sports and activities. When I have down time, I enjoy music and exploring the beauty of nature.
